Terms and Conditions (T&C)
1. Introduction & Nature of the Platform
Service Aggregator: Fixhub is an online marketplace/platform that connects Users with independent third-party Service Professionals.
No Direct Employment: The App does not employ the service providers. They are independent contractors, and the App is not responsible for their individual actions beyond platform screening.
2. User Account & Eligibility
Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years of age to register and book a service.
Account Accuracy: Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (Name, Mobile Number, Email, Address) during registration.
Account Security: Users are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials (OTP/Password).
3. Booking, Pricing, and Payments
Pricing: Service rates displayed on the Fixhub are subject to change based on the scope of work. Applicable taxes, inspection charges, and convenience fees will be added at checkout.
Payment Methods: The platform accepts payments via UPI, Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Service (CoS).
Quotation for Extra Work: For services like Electrical, Plumbing, or RO Repair, if additional spare parts or extra labor are required, a fresh estimate will be provided on-site, which the customer must approve before work begins.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation Fee: If a User cancels a booking within a specified window less than 2 hours before the scheduled time, the standard cancellation fee will not be charged. But if Service man arrives at the customer's location for service at the time specified by the customer but the customer refuses to take the service, the standard cancellation fee will be charged.
Provider Cancellation: If a Service Professional cancels or fails to arrive, the User will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.
Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment source or app wallet within 5–7 business days.
5. Service-Specific Terms & Conditions
A. Electrical, Plumbing & RO Purifier Services
Spare Parts Warranty: If any spare part (e.g., RO filters, pump, wires, switches) is replaced, the warranty lies solely with the manufacturer of that part. The Fixhub does not provide independent warranties on hardware unless explicitly stated.
Post-Service Issues: Any operational issues regarding the specific repair must be reported within 24–48 hours for a free re-inspection. This will be processed in accordance with FixHub's Cancellation Policy.
B. Salon, Parlor & Massage Therapy (At-Home Beauty)
Allergies & Skin Conditions: Customers must inform the beauty/massage professional of any pre-existing skin conditions, allergies, or pregnancies before the service begins. The Fixhub is not liable for adverse reactions to standard products.
