Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the rules, fees, and procedures regarding the modification or cancellation of service bookings made through our platform. By scheduling a service with us, you agree to comply with this policy.
Customer Cancellation Windows & Fees
To ensure fairness to our independent service professionals (who reserve their time and travel to your location), cancellations are subject to timing rules:
A. Free Cancellation Window
Timeframe: You can cancel or reschedule any service booking free of charge up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled service start time.
Action: No fees will apply, and any advance payment made will be fully credited back to your original payment method.
B. Late Cancellation Window
Timeframe: If you cancel or reschedule a booking less than 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, it is considered a Late Cancellation.
Fee: A standard Late Cancellation Fee only ₹100/- will be charged to cover the service professional's lost time and travel preparation.
C. On-Site Cancellation / No-Show
Timeframe: If the service professional arrives at your designated location and you cancel the service on the spot, or if the professional cannot reach you after waiting for 15 minutes, the booking will be treated as a "No-Show."
Fee: You will be charged a No-Show Fee only ₹100/- base visiting/inspection charged
While Fixhub make every effort to fulfill every booking, there are instances where we or our partners must cancel:
Provider Emergency: If an assigned professional faces an unexpected emergency or vehicle breakdown, we will attempt to re-assign an alternate professional within a reasonable timeframe. Customer Right to Free Cancellation: If we change your service time slot by more than 30 minutes due to provider delays, you have the right to cancel the booking for a 100% full refund with no penalties.
Safety Risks: A service professional reserves the right to cancel a service on the spot without penalty if they encounter an unsafe working environment, abusive behavior, or if the request violates our terms of service. In such cases, no refund will be issued to the customer.
Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)
Neither the customer nor the platform will be penalized for cancellations arising out of events beyond reasonable control. These include:
· Extreme weather conditions (heavy rains, flooding).
· Public strikes, road blockades, or local government restrictions.
· Natural disasters.
In these events, bookings will be safely cancelled or rescheduled without any fees.
How to Cancel or Reschedule a Booking
1. Open the App and go to My Bookings.
2. Select the active booking you wish to modify.
3. Click on Cancel Booking or Reschedule.
4. Select the reason for cancellation and confirm. Any applicable fees or refund details will be displayed instantly on the screen before final confirmation.
